There is no tsunami threat to the Philippines.
This was the advisory issued by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology following the 7.4-magnitude earthquake that hit Colombia on Monday, Aug. 10.
PHIVOLCS said no action is required at the moment.
International media reports said at least 69 people were killed after the tremor hit the Chocó region.
The tremor came less than two months after twin earthquakes shook Venezuela and killed over 6,000 people.
