BTS continues to show staying power on the U.S. charts as the group’s fifth studio album, ARIRANG, marks its 25th consecutive week on the Billboard 200.
On Billboard’s latest chart dated September 19, ARIRANG holds steady at No. 29, maintaining the same position it occupied the previous week.
The milestone comes nearly six months after the album began its Billboard 200 run at No. 1 on the chart dated April 4.
The album spent its first three consecutive weeks at No. 1 and has accumulated 13 weeks inside the Billboard 200’s top 10.
According to reports citing BIGHIT MUSIC, that is the longest top-10 run on the chart for an album by a Korean artist.
ARIRANG also gained ground on Billboard’s album sales ranking this week. It climbed seven positions to No. 18 on Top Album Sales, while placing No. 43 on Top Streaming Albums.
The album’s title track, “SWIM,” is also continuing its U.S. chart presence, re-entering Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart at No. 30, a ranking based on airplay audience impressions at adult contemporary radio stations.
The latest chart results add to a strong year for BTS, with ARIRANG maintaining its place among the most prominent K-pop releases on the U.S. charts months after its March release.
Meanwhile, BTS is preparing to take the ARIRANG World Tour to South America. The group is scheduled to begin the leg in Bogotá, Colombia, on October 2, followed by stops in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo, with 14 concerts planned across five cities.
