BTS is awaiting the results of two major categories at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles, with the group’s hit song “SWIM” nominated for Song of the Year and Best K-Pop.
BTS member j-hope also has a connection to the Best K-Pop category through LE SSERAFIM’s “SPAGHETTI,” on which he is a featured artist. This means both BTS’ “SWIM” and a track featuring j-hope are represented in the same category.
As of the latest live results available on September 28, Philippine time, winners for Song of the Year and Best K-Pop have not yet been confirmed in the live winners lists.
Fans should therefore wait for an official announcement before treating social media posts claiming a BTS win in either category as confirmed.
